The World had always existed, and was endless. Since even before there were those who could describe it as having existed at all, The World simply was.
Those that lived in it were many, over countless kingdoms, nations, and confederations. They fought here, cooperated there, a seeming cycle of annihilation and rebirth marring The World, but never threatening it.
The World changed, though in response, not in retribution. It evolved, the movement of entropy merely another part of its endless rhythm.
And All The World knew the warmth of The Sun.
